About our methods
Our editorial standards
Purpose
Our goal is to help small-business readers decide whether a product solves a specific problem, whether a free or lower-cost option is adequate, and which costs or limitations require closer inspection.
Research method
We begin with the reader's job to be done, consult official vendor feature and pricing pages, document important limits, and distinguish verified facts from our opinions and estimates. Vendor capabilities and offers can change. Dates and source links accompany time-sensitive claims.
Independence
Payment opportunities do not guarantee inclusion or positive coverage. We identify meaningful disadvantages, alternatives, and circumstances where buying nothing is sensible. We do not use invented customers, testimonials, hands-on tests, performance results, or traffic statistics.
Corrections
If a published claim appears inaccurate, readers may contact SiftSpot through our contact page. We review reported errors and correct material issues.
Affiliate disclosure
SiftSpot Finds may earn a commission when a reader uses certain links and makes an eligible purchase. This creates a financial relationship with the merchant.
Affiliate commissions do not determine whether we recommend a purchase; readers should make their own decision. We place a clear disclosure near any commission-generating recommendation or link, as well as on this page. We do not currently claim approval from HubSpot or any other merchant.
Privacy
See the SiftSpot Finds Privacy Notice for the practices that apply to this editorial site. The initial publication does not include reader signup, checkout, analytics or affiliate tracking. Any future affiliate links or analytics will require verified notices and clear disclosures before activation.
